THE PROJECT

  • When we first met Belisa (Founder) & her husband Alex, and got to know their business, we could see just how effective & impactful their products had been to their existing customers. The transformations people were already seeing in the health of their hair, was enough to show that this business is going to continue to be a very successful one.

    The founders wanted to show their gratitude to their loyal customers, by investing back into the business, with a new brand identity and website design. It was time for a transformation in their brand identity too, and a new era as they called it!

    That’s where we came in! Monarca Ulje was created by a latin woman who wanted healthier, longer and fuller hair. ‘Monarca’ is in reference to the Monarch butterfly, translated in Spanish. ‘Ulje’ means ‘oil’ in the Croatian language. Together the name refers to the superiority of the ingredients used in the Scalp Treatment to replenish the hair.

  • We made sure that the Founder’s story and the meaning behind the brand creation, was conveyed well in the new identity & website design.

    We also created the brand’s values, mission & vision in conjunction with the brand identity development.

    We did extensive research into the Founder’s personality, likes & dislikes, business aims, and also market research, to gain an understanding of where we currently stood.

    Over the course of 7 weeks & regular meetings, we developed the colour palette, logo & sub-logo, typography, and photography styles. Once these were created, we designed a 5-page, strategised Shopify website. The website was designed with Belisa’s ideal clientele in mind, ease of use, and brand awareness.

    Keywords for the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) was also collected and implemented onto the website.
